Neolution Orange wins Litany League Season 2

Once again, teams from South-East Asia gathered together for another round of intense DOTA 2 action in the second season of Litany League. Perhaps as expected, with the absence of Zenith, it was none other than Malaysian powerhouse Neolution.Orange who captured gold.

The road to success for Mushi and his crew was not a walk in the park as they were sent to the Losers’ Bracket early in the tournament by their former comrade, Winter and his new team ABC. From then on, they had to defeat top teams such as Neolution.International, MSI-EvoGT.TnC and Joe Elite Team to stay alive in the tournament.

To determine which team, from the Losers’ Bracket, would face MiTH-Trust in the grand finals, Neolution.Orange found themselves once again locking horns with ABC. This time, however, Neolution.Orange decided to bench ace carry, Mushi and fielded Ohaiyo and Kecik Imba in the Losers’ Bracket final. It was Kecik’s Anti-Mage who stole the show as he singlehandedly destroyed ABC’s plan of continuously pushing into Neolution.Orange’s base by applying constant pressure on ABC’s barracks.

In a best-of-one final, Neolution.Orange showed that they were more experienced as they went with a non-traditional dual mid combo of Sven and Lina to stifle Beastmaster’s presence during the early game. Kecik Imba once again performed phenomenally as the carry Shadow Fiend, netting a Shadow Blade after only 9 minutes to easily pickoff MiTH-Trust’s heroes. As a result, Neolution.Orange was able to destroy MiTH-Trust’s tier 3 tower in 25 minutes and took the game in 28 minutes with a 25-8 kill advantage.

Expect more from this tournament as it was announced that the Litany League would be returning for a third season and will have the renowned SEA DOTA organization, DOTATalk as partners.
