The International 2 participant, Orange was the early favorite to win this tournament together with other big teams such as MUFC, TnC, Invasion, and others. The tournament ran for 3 days with exactly 207 participating teams from all over the south East Asian region. For the teams competing, it was all or nothing as they went thru a Single Elimination format up until the final four wherein only Flash, Invasion, Orange, and HARROSH was the only teams left.
Although without their core hitter Mushi, Orange did rely with their pure teamwork as they were able to pass through every opposition that did block their way.The team defeated HARROSH in the semis 2-0 to advance to the finals to battle another undefeated team in the tournament, Flash Esports. Given the broad international experience that they have and also the strategy that they possess, Orange did dominate the younger team Flash in the finals to win the GosuCup Asia.
As the winner of the MSI and Gigabyte sponsored tournament, Orange received $500 followed by runner up Flash E-Sports with $300 and Invasion at third with $200.
Congratulations to Orange E-Sports for winning the GosuCup Asia Tournament
