Yesterday at ESWC, they have announced that the CS:GO tournament will feature a cash total of $25,000 for the prize pool. Last year, ESWC handed out $20,000 and had 10 teams. This year they increased the prize pool by $5,000 and added 6 teams to the pool.

The ESWC 2013 Grand Finals will he held on October 30 to November 3 at Porte de Versailles. The event will be a part of the anticipated French gaming event Paris Games Week.

The CS:GO tournament will be divided into two categories: the male division and female division. In the male division, there will be 16 teams. 4 teams will be invited while the rest will come from the national qualifiers.

Last year's champion, Ninjas in Pyjamas, directly got an invite to the grand finals to defend their title.

The other division will showcase the talents of the female CS:GO teams.

The female division will feature a $10,000 prize pool. The list of teams for this division was finalized earlier today as Begrip Gaming occupied the last slot. Begrip will join UBINITED, Druidz, playArt.girls, France, Norway, Germany, and blackWidow this October to find out the best female CS:GO team.
