MATCH PREVIEW: Mineski vs First Departure

 

We will be ending play week 8 with two teams that has similarities in the way they play, they both have flexible rosters that can play different roles and multiple heroes that make it hard for teams to prepare and predict against them. The switching of roles depend on the heroes they pick where in First Departure's side, some players change from support to carry and vice versa. While for Mineski, their 1, 2 and 3 (Solo Mid, Solo Side and Tri-lane Carry) who change roles.

 

Mineski was able to finish third in this month's Neolution GosuCup despite very limited tournaments after during and after TI3 that they joined before that and majority of it was against their fellow Filipino teams. They were able to reach the finals of the upper bracket after defeating TellMeWhy but unfortunately lost in the hands of ViCi Gaming and eventually they were sent home by TellMeWhy who secured second place.

 

While for First Departure, they just came off a win against the newcomers AMGD.Awake where they had to constantly apply pressures in the lane to deny AMGD.Awake's four-protect-one strat. Their 5 man seige is just too much for AMGD.Awake to defend because of the insufficient farms and experience that they could accumulate. With that, First Departure is continuously acquiring gold and at the same time making it hard for AMGD.Awake to farm their items. Eventually, AMGD.Awake could no longer take First Departure head on and defend mainly because of Chen's massive heals Mekanism and Hand of God and the insiffucient levels and items from them.
