Na’Vi Funn1k: “Empire will not find another good captain in CIS”

 

 

Earlier, Team Empire announced the departure of their support players Airat “Silent” Gaziev and former captain, Artur “Goblak” Kostenko from the team. It has been revealed that the cause of the drop was down to the team’s poor performance in recent tournaments, said the management.

Rapture Gaming Network had a quick chat with a former Team Empire member and who now with Na’Vi, Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov.

RGN: Who could be the possible replacements for the support roles in Empire

Funn1k: I don't know when Goblak left, the team is already dead.

RGN: Why would that be? They still have talented players like Vigoss, Scandal and Blowyourbrain?

Funn1k: Nope, they will not find good captain (Goblak) in CIS (Communist Independent State) and also Vigoss is pretty bad nowadays.

 

RGN: How about Goblak? Do you think he will come back with a new crew?

Funn1k: Yea, he told to me that he is coming back with pretty good roster but I still do not know who it will be exactly, he may be back in 2 to 3 weeks time.

 

Funn1k is also looking forward to the G-1 west qualifiers which had been plaque by DdoS issues but nonetheless he said that it would be nice to be in China for the G-1 LAN Finals.
