The Asian Gaming League (AGL), riding on the success of the recently concluded DOTA 2 tournament, will be stepping-up and launching a new website in the next couple of weeks. This new website will include features like gamer profiles, stores and tournaments for PC and console platforms.

 

This initiative drew encouragment from the gaming community's positive response, to the AGL #2 DOTA 2 tournament that took place in Orange Cyber Café, Wangsa Maju Malaysia.

 

The tournament featured 58 DOTA 2 teams from all across Malaysia that included heavyweights Invasion.MuFC, NeoES.Orange and Invasion.Gigabyte.

 

Final results:

Champion: NeoES|Orange - mushi, kyxy, net, xtinct, ohaiyo

2nd Place: Invasion.MuFC - winter, hontrashplayer, ling, tfg, FzFz

3rd Place: Invasion.Gigabyte - DaN, snow, shengg, Baby, jab

 

Mushi and company from NeoES.Orange finished as champions of the tournament bagging 1,500RM and gaming gear sponsored by TTeSports.

“Gamers should stay tuned to our facebook page as we will be launching our brand new website for Asian gamers to unite them under one hood on different platforms. This LAN doesn't end here we will organize online leagues/ladders this month and will start planning for AGL #3 in another Asian country, which will include more games as well.”

 

This is good news for all eSports enthusiasts as another gaming group commits to catering more opportunities for teams to showcase their talents. The South-East Asian scene is going to be the focus of the Asian Gaming League and we can expect more tournaments in the months to come!
