The future of DOTA 2 Malaysia seems to be very bright as we see different achievements being won by 2 of the heavyweight in the Asian region. First is Orange, showing a competitive run in the International 2 is only the beginning. Since then, the team really improved, winning the first ever GEST DOTA 2 and placing third in the G-1 league, which features multiple Chinese powerhouse.
Aside from Orange, there is MUFC. This time, with the absence of the defending champion Orange in the Gosucup Asia 2, MUFC made sure that the title would be retained by another Malaysian. The tournament was attended by 222 different teams from all over the SouthEast Asia region and competed through online. Big names such as Mineski, Pagibig TnC, Flash, and Harrosh also participated. You may check out the bracket here.
MUFC, the champions defeated Harrosh in the finals 2-0 to claim the second Gosucup title for Malaysia, as the champion of the 2nd edition of Gosucup Asia MUFC became $500 richer followed by Harrosh with $300 and for third First Departure with $200.
Congratulations to MUFC for being the Gosucup II Asia Champion
