Last year, the event named “The Games Xpo Singapore 2011” (TGX 11) has resonated in the Southeast Asia gaming community. To capture the interests of fans, most of being-popular eSports games included DotA, FIFA, StarCraft 2, League of Legends… are brought into the “must –have” list of professional gamers. The appearances of those clans/ teams, such as MiTH (Thailand), AeonSports (Singapore), Mineski (Philippines), or Orange Esports (Malaysia), have brought more and more intensive matches to tingle our fans, such as the StarCraft 2 final match between the two top competitors Enderr (Mineski) and RedAnchor (MiTH) with the championship belonged to winner from Philippines with cash prizes worth SG $ 600, or in DotA, Mineski defeated Orange Esports and came back home with the DotA championship title. This year, at TGX Vietnam, the organizers may invite one of the teams listed above, for eSports fans in Vietnam can witness the competitions between Vietnamese eSports teams and the foreigners.

Not only all about competitive gaming, TGX is also an opportunity for the game publishers, gaming peripherals manufacturers to promote the upcoming products and seek chances to expand this potential market. In 2011, the 3D online game Dragon Nest was promoted at TGX 11. Besides, TGX also organized the TGX Connect, which aims to create a meeting between the developers and gaming publishers in Asia, such as Shanda Games, Indomog, Pendulab ...
