Dreamz, Censored, Gangster qualifies for Dota 2 PGF Summer Assembly
After 2 days of intense online Filipino Dota 2 action in the PGF Qualifiers, Dreamz.Steelseries, Censored.Blaque and Gangster have earned their spot to compete in the PGF 2013 Summer Assembly that is going to happen on the 11th and 12th of May at SM Cyberzone North Edsa.
Dreamz.Steelseries together with their manager, BigDogJ on flying their way to PGF
Joining them, teams such as MSI-EvoGT.TnC, Mineski.Razer, NeoES.Orange, NeoES.Int., and the all-girls team, Asterisk* have already announced to compete in the said tournament.
The qualifiers turned out to be an interesting one as HAPPYFEET, a former WarCraft3 team return to the pro scene but was defeated in their first match against NinjaCool. Not only HAPPYFEET but Ninjacool also made an upset against a top-tier team, TnC Gaming. They were really the big story of the tournament and were confident to qualify to the main event until they met the guys from Cebu, Censored.Blaque.
Censored.Blaque is hoping to keep their winning role until the major event
Censored.Blaque and Dreamz defeated NinjaCool and Gangster respectively to advance and qualify to PGF Summer Assembly. That result placed the losing teams to face each other for their last hope of competing at Cyberzone. In the end Gangster proved that NinjaCool’s first day dominance willl not continue and sent them home with a 2-1 victory.
Much will expected from the PGF Summer Assembly as not only the major gaming titles will have their own tournaments, but sponsors will be presenting different segments and surprises at the venue itself.
