PLAY WEEK 8: DAY 2 RECAP
We came into day 2 with two teams needing standins to be able to play, but unfortunately, it didn't worked out well for them and so they couldn't emerge as victors. NeoES.Orange and Mineski had to find four stand-ins per team, and this is where we saw Mushi in action in order to help out his former team.
MATCH 1:
Eventhough Mushi officially left the team, he still managed to lend his former team a helping hand by filling in an empty spot for tonight's match where he played along side NeoES.Orange's manager Kenchi Yap, Kecik Imba and two more stand-ins.
At the start of the game, MiTH-Trust captured the lead by grabbing an early first blood and the momentum continued through the laning stage. As the game progressed, NeoES.Orange's lack of experience, in terms of playing with each other as a team, showed during team fights as their coordinations was just off. MiTH-Trust took advantage of that.
At the end, MiTH-Trust's continued the pressure and forced team fights where they won majority of the fights. This was basically why they won. they mostly won was just basically the reason for their victory.
MATCH 2:
Mineski came into tonight's match with four standins and only JessieVash being avaliable but despite that, they played well against First Departure who constructed a lineup with heroes that we rarely see in a match together.
Early in the game, it was undoubtedly in Mineski's favor where they completely shut down the solo slark in the bottom lane while their solo lanes Templar Assassin did a decent job in the middle lane. Batrider was able to farm in the jungle but had to give First Departure's Naga Siren a free lane to farm. With First Departure's lineup, they needed sufficient levels and items to be effective, and that made it hard for them during the early portion of the game.
As the game progressed, First Departure started picking up momentum after winning a few skirmishes that gave them the much needed experience and gold, at the same time keeping their hopes alive. With that, the game slowly started to shift into their favor and what Mineski had to do was to keep up with them. Unfortunately, they were outplayed by First Departure where they either kited or quickly killed Mineski's carries. Eventually, First Departure would over-power their way to victory.
