The Swedish Gaming Festival
The Embassy of Sweden and the Singapore Cybersports Gaming Association (SCOGA) are hosting a two day gaming event at E2Max Singapore that begun yesterday. In celebration of the many games Swedish developers have made over the years, such as EA’s explosive shooter Battlefield 3 or the crown jewel of the indie scene, Minecraft, the Swedish Embassy of Singapore is throwing a party at E2Max, Cathay Cinelesiure Orchard, which will feature exclusive looks at the RaceRoom Racing Experience and BF3 competitions with plenty of prizes to boot.
Speaking of the event yesterday was SCOGA’s Chairman Nicholas Aaron Khoo, who pleased to see a healthy the partnership between these two keen proponents of gaming and eSports. "SCOGA is really pleased to be able to partner with the Swedish Embassy to organise the Swedish Game Festival. Sweden has always been a hotbed for gaming with one of the largest gaming events in the world Dreamhack held biannually. Popular game titles like Battlefield and Minecraft that have been enjoyed the world over were brought to us from developers in Sweden and in this festival; we are excited to showcase these game titles and more from Swedish developers for gamers in Singapore to enjoy."
