Absolute Legends disbands
Popular eSports outfit Absolute Legends has just confirmed the disbandment of their CS:GO division. The team, originally put together by Absolute Legends in October 2012, had racked up several impressive victories in their five months together.
Despite going their separate ways, the team confirmed on hltv that they will still be competing, most likely with a makeshift lineup, at EMS One where they will share the stage with ESC Gaming, k1ck and LDLC.com.
"We have been trying time and time again to get people that want to play and have the same mindset in terms on how much we want to achieve as a team," Alexander "rdl" Redl said.
"It's just so sad to keep on stumbling upon unprofessional players. We announce that we are putting this on ice for now, we might resurface later, or not.”
"Time will tell what happens. Just want to thank Tim and AL for all their efforts that they have made."

The team's disbandment will open a vacant slot at the next ESEA invite season. The team had previously been considered to be one of the contenders for the title as they finished an impressive 7th place last season.
While the move to dissolve the team did not come as much of a surprise to the CS community, the scene mourns as another top contender is lost. Will they come up with another team? What’s next for the players of Absolute Legends? Let us know in the comments section below!
