Royal Club Dota 2 division disbands
Team Royal Club, a professional clan's tag which was founded in China, has finally let go of their Dota 2 division. The team manager had to announce to the public that the clan had decided to release their players in light of the lack of sponsorship. He also stated that the players may need more time to prove themselves while pursuing possible sponsors whose willing to back the cause of eSports. Despite the parting of ways, the manager insists that the his team's thirst to prove their skills in teamplay is definitely there.
The professional clan's overall manager Fantasy said that the decision was made because they forecast Dota 2 might not be that good a game in the long run with regards to tying down long term sponsorships. The team's performance back at ECL 2013 didn't help the cause either. In any case, the players Hanci, 5400, xiaosi, yim, and SN are currently out of action and no plans to return to the competitive scene as of yet. We will look to bring you more updates when more information is available.
