FIFA 14 Singapore Launch

 

FIFA 14 has officially been launched! Copies of the 2014 edition, part of the popular footballing franchise by Electronic Arts (EA), was made available for sale yesterday at all major video game retail outlets.

 

In celebration of its release, Flash e-Sports and Zepy Games held on the 24^th, a special launch event at the video game retailer’s Northpoint outlet in Yishun, Singapore. Gamers and passersby’s were invited to challenge the three Flash e-Sports FIFA representatives present for prizes that included a stylishly new pair of Gunnar Optiks, advanced computer eyeware and gaming glasses. Lucky onlookers were also treated to spurts of game time on the PS3 versions of the game.

 

Singapore’s reigning FIFA 13 WCG champion, Flash.hibidi, was accompanied by teammates Flash.Xtr3me3 and Flash.El Rey, for the open event which begun at 5pm. Though a steady stream of contenders ensued, the Flash trio however remained stubbornly unbeatable right up till the final hour of the launch event. Taking the first and only game off the professionals that night was Ian, who managed to take full advantage of his opponent’s rather charitable choice of team, winning for himself that much coveted Gunnar eyeware set.
