Denmark won the recently concluded European Championships 2013 held at Belgrade, Serbia. Out of 42 national teams, Denmark stood out. The team defeated France 3-1 in the grand finals to take home the championship.
The team were up against the French in the grand finals. They were set to compete in a best of five series match. The first game was played on de_inferno. The French capitalize as they showed impressive plays throughout the game. Their play made them secure the first victory. They won the game 12-16. But the remaining games were a different story. The second game was played on de_train. It was a great comeback as Denmark was able to secure the victory. The second, third and fourth game also went to Denmark. They spelled all out war against France. The team won 16-11 on de_train, 16-4 on de_dust2 and 16-5 on de_nuke to win the championship together with $2,000 and $2,500 worth of hardware prizes.
Andreas 'Xyp9x' Hojsleth led the team with an incredible 93-53 performance throughout the championship series.
