The second round of FIFA 14 fixtures get underway this weekend. Zarate faces KirosZ in a massive relegation six-pointer, hibidi takes on his protege El Rey, and league leader leOmeS kicks off his FIFA 14 campaign against Hakumenfox.
Zarate (SG) v MiTH.KirosZ (TH), Sunday 3pm
KirosZ was systematically dismantled by hibidi last weekend, and will need to produce a far better performance against Zarate. When these two players last met, it was the Thai player who managed a 3-1 win. Zarate will undoubtedly seek revenge against KirosZ, and either player will be hoping to bag all 3 points in their quest to secure league status for next season.
Flash.hibidi (SG) v Flash.El Rey (SG), Sunday 3.30pm
El Rey hopes to do the double over his captain on Sunday. Their previous encounter in September saw hibidi in uncharacteristically poor form, as he struggled to cope with the youngster's high press game, and went down 2-0. Hibidi has since put two impressive wins together, and will look to make it three wins in a row against the youngster.
Infinite.leOmeS (MY) v proA.Hakumenfox (VN), Sunday 4pm
LeOmeS' 4-1 win in September was a controversial one, with Hakumenfox's Ronaldo sent off early on for an innocuous challenge. The Vietnamese will be out to keep 11 men on the pitch this time, and halt a run of 3 successive losses in the league. Against leOmeS, he comes up against a player who has picked up from where he left off in FIFA 13. During the RGN League's mid-season break, leOmeS wrapped up both AFGC and MSTGE titles, bagging over 2000 RM in prize money. The smart money will be on leOmeS keeping his fine run going.
Infinite.leOmeS (MY) v Flash.El Rey (SG), Sunday 4.30pm
LeOmeS escaped with a point from his meeting with El Rey in match day 9. The young Singaporean was in inspired form on the day and created a host of chances, but lacked a killer instinct. This weekend's summit meeting will probably go a long way in deciding the fate of the league title, with only 7 games remaining for each player after its conclusion.
