RGN Elite Match Day 3 Preview
KirosZ v Nonii9 8pm
The first all-Thai clash of the elite league. KirosZ will be looking to halt a run of two consecutive losses, while Nonii9 will be hoping to build on his impressive start.
KirosZ will need to tighten up defensively if he is to get anything from Today's match. He's conceded at least 4 goals per game so far, but may find things easier against Nonii9's slow-paced attack.
El Rey v Hakumenfox 8.30pm
El Rey has perhaps surprised everyone with his strong start to the league. Him and Zarate are the only two players playing on balanced mentality (everyone else is on defensive).
Against Hakumenfox, he comes up against a seasoned pro. This game will probably be El Rey's toughest so far, and it will be interesting to see if his gung ho style will be able to crack a top-notch defence.
Vin v Zarate 9pm
Both players are desperate for points, but will probably be happy with a draw from this game.
Zarate salvaged a point against hibidi last weekend after going behind to an early goal. He will need all of that fighting spirit on display against Vin; a player who tends to keep possession for long periods while ahead.
Zarate scores against hibidi
KunKun v hibidi (postponed to 24 July 9.45pm)
Yet another match in which both players need points in a hurry. KunKun and hibidi are winless after two games, and need to kick-start their campaigns.
KunKun struggled against El Rey's aggressive 433 formation last weekend, and it will be interesting to see if hibidi employs that setup instead of his favoured 4231.
KunKun was comprehensively beaten last weekend
Expect both players to play with the handbrake on. Neither will want to lose this game, and it may very well be a tight, cagey, low-scoring affair.
leOmeS v si_jali (postponed to 24 July 10.30pm)
Si_jali plays away for the first time this season, and will be hoping to score a vital win against a rampant leOmeS.
Si_jali's cross-heavy game has been severely affected by streaming-induced delay from his first two matches. We'll finally get to see him in full flow this weekend against a player who has made a perfect start to the league.
Vin v Hakumenfox 9.30pm
A Real Madrid 4231 mirror match. Hakumenfox should look to exploit Vin's use of Callejon at left back - a potential weakness in vin's traditionally solid defence.
The onus will be on the Vietnamese to pick up the pace, and to press effectively enough to stop Vin from dictating the tempo with his slow possession style.
