Rapture Gaming Network in cooperation with Anime Alliance is proud to announce the PGF 2013 Cosplay Competition. Witness cosplayers in their best costumes as they bring fun in the biggest gaming event of the year.

There will be two categories for the Cosplay competition. The open category and the gaming category. The open category will be open to everyone. Everyone can use any character in this category. The gaming category will feature cosplayers in gaming characters.

IMPORTANT RULES AND GUIDELINES

- Catwalk schedule may change without prior notice.

- The event's staff and volunteers up to 2nd degree of consaguinity cannot participate in the competition.

- By joining the competition, you are automatically granting permission (with or without contract and/or waiver) to the organizers, contracted photographers, and Anime Alliance to use photographs, audio and video of the participants taken during the contest for print, television, radio and online promotions and reports.

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED:

- Anything that may injure other cosplayers, staff or anyone else attending the convention. This includes anything 
not allowed according to our WEAPONS POLICY or anything at the discretion of the Anime Alliance staff that they 
believe may cause harm. 
 
-Nudity is not allowed in skits or in the Cosplay Competition altogether. Anime Alliance Philippines also discourages 
highly revealing costumes that don’t cover over PG-15 rating parts of the body. We also recommend shorts for 
very short skirts. If your costume is considered to revealing, you will not be allowed to enter the competition or the 
event. 
 
- No authentic and/or metal and/or explosive weapons and/or objects deemed unsafe by Anime Alliance 
Philippines Cosplay Committee will be allowed to enter the event. Anyone found with any objects such as these 
will have them confiscated and they will be returned at the end of the event. If the situation warrants, the person 
may be removed from the premises and the authorities may be notified. 

REGISTRATION

The registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. registrant can register from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the cosplay registration area.

To register, a form will be given to each participants and underage participants must a Parent/Guardian waiver.

Each cosplayer will have a 1-2 minute stage time to perform a catwalk for the judging. 

Criteria for Judging:

Each judge in the competition can award 10 points (35%) for custome, 10 (35%) points for performance, 5 points (15%) for faithfulness to the original work, and 5 points (15%) in the relevance to the event theme, for maximum total of 30 points (100%).

PERFORMANCE - 10 points or 35%
This category is consist of interpretation, inventiveness, entertainment value and level of performance.

COSTUME - 10 points or 35%
This category is consist of production execution, how faithful it is to the original character's or how embellished it is with ideas.

FIDELITY TO THE ORIGINAL WORK - 5 points or 15%
This category is consist of how close the performance content to the original story and characters; how much respect is shown to the original work.

AUDIENCE IMPACT - 5 points or 15%
This category is consist of the positive reaction of the audience.

Champion - Php 5,000
Chibi - Php 5,000
Mecha - Php 5,000

For Gaming Category (Day 2)
Champion - Php 15,000
Runner-up - Php 10,000
