Shaun "Apollo" Clark, former progamer under team Dignitas turned top-class Starcraft2 commentator, has just been signed on to ESL TV, and will be leaving the GD studio and moving to Germany. He will be joining James "Kaelaris" Carrol in covering the World Championship Series and Intel Extreme Masters. Apollo has quoted his happiness at being signed on, citing that "WCS is the main project I want to work on and I am happy to be making the move to Germany to be fully involved in not only the WCS but also the IEM stops."
When asked about the addition, Head of Commentary at ESL TV, Paul 'ReDeYe' Chaloner said that he was "thrilled to have Shaun joining what is already a world class commentary team at ESL TV and I couldn’t be happier to have secured arguably the best StarCraft II commentator in the world. I’m really looking forward to Shaun and James working closely together and developing further an already excellent casting duo, particularly on WCS and IEM.”
Apollo will cast his first event under ELS TV on the 25th of June, at the opening broadcast of the WCS Europe Premier League, at Cologne, Germany.
