GEST (GIGABYTE E-Sports Tournament) is the match that held by GIGABYTE, one of the tops PC hardware brand in the world. The match brings the rookie or newbie in the real tournament in order to find the 16 best teams from each regions of Thailand and compete with each others in 27 May to find out that “Who is the best rookie team of Thailand!"

The event held along 3 days, 25-27 May 2012 at Digital Gateway, Center Point, Siam Square. During three days, the Shopping Center of Bangkok was fulfilled by a lot of interesting activities. On May 25th, it was the A.V.A GEST Tournament 2012 Final, which was one of the A.V.A Super league ESCORT campaigns with BFAM76 claimed as the winner of the tournament.

The next day was delighted by the workshop activity with the appearance of the famous commentator in DotA tournaments, David “Godz” Parker from GosuGamers. He described about how to be a good commentator and taught the audience how to do commentating in the tournament. Another event was gotten attention by the visitors, GEST DotA 2012 Central Region match that found four other teams to the grand finale.

On the last day of the event was the big climax, GEST DotA Tournament Grand Finale, with Pochi, the famous gaming host of Thailand as the host of the final round, Cyberclasher from Playcybergames and Rezett from DotA news as the main commentator. The match ended with Tell Me Why! as the champion of this tournament. Another interesting activity while the match was going on was the Lucky Draw with the grand prize is the famous game series that old school gamers had been waiting for 12 years, Diablo 3. After all, the ticket to Tristram belonged to Mr.Baworn Harnboonkrong, the member of Mango.Qu, the 2nd winner of the GEST DotA Tournament. He won the 2nd prize of the tournament and also won the Diablo 3 from Lucky Draw too, what a lucky man!!!

As the champion of the GEST DotA Tournament Grand Finale, the team will receive 20,000 bath in-cast and a champion cup, the 1st runner-up will receive 10,000 bath in-cast and a TCG Premium package and the 2nd runner-up will be back home with 8,000 bath.
