As everyone knows, Thais are always on the lookout for brand new MMOFPS Alliance of Valiant Arms (aka A.V.A.) teams from Point Blank, Soldier Front and Sudden Attack. So today we would like to present a dark-horse team who can beat up strong teams in Thailand and grab the championship. Let's talk about Real Original Gaming (as known as rOG.)
I have to start from the beginning. 9th, the team leader created the clan to play for competitions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. rOG played in COD:MW2 in ultra-defensive style, they beat almost all teams in South East Asia so foreign teams flamed them as aimbotters and wallhackers.
But they didn't care what people said. They kept playing, expanded their network, found more contacts with different teams. They joined competitions to make themselves stronger. But rumors travel fast. They got banned from all competitions and no one wanted to play with them. So they thought there was no reason to play COD:MW2 anymore. The team leader made the decision to move to A.V.A. when www.ijji.com brought it over and made it free to play. Players from the COD:MW2 team followed him. Last month, Asiasoft and www.playfps.com debuted this game for play and named the event AVA PRE-SEASON Road to World Championship 2011. rOG. executed their same strategies as they would have in COD:MW2 and they beat the other teams in practice in online matches. rOG became the talk of the town in forums. They were once again accused of using cheating programs and suggested everyone to avoid playing with them. rOG. showed them how much stronger they were despite all these false rumors and gained the respect of other players for their skill in competitions and now they're preparing for matches in South-Korea!
9th said: "We are happy and proud of what we have done. Everything we have done up till now has been worth it. We tried so hard and now we gotten what we deserve. We have known each other since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, we got to know one another, we worked hard together, we grew together and we made it together. We might have some problems with teamwork but we'll practice harder and create new tactics, new styles and aim for much more rewards to make Thai players proud of us. We can't let them down. We will have to constantly improve ourselves as it won’t be easy going up against top foreign teams who have stronger play styles. It's a wall we have to overcome. We are only looking at the champion.
As rOG 's leader, I'm Kao (9th) and I would like to say thank you to everyone who practiced with us, everyone who gave us advice, everyone who supported us and everyone who always stood with my team. We will do the best we can at Aundong,South-Korea next month.
I believe everyone can be like us, everyone can do it no matter how old you are, and who you are, everyone has the ability and if you practice hard, you'll be the top of players. If we can do it so can you. Don't forget to cheer us on!"
