The Malaysia qualifiers for the Gigabyte Nvidia DOTA 2 Summer Cup was finished yesterday and unfortunately for the favorites GizMo Gaming and Duskbin, they had to face each other in the third round. GizMo Gaming was able to go out with the win and sent Duskbin packing. The second team to qualify is team MalayAllstars who probably had the easier teams to face compared to GizMo Gaming through the qualifiers. But nonetheless, they did what they had to do for them to advance into the main event.

 

ROUND ONE

GizMo Gaming vs A M B E R

 

GizMo Gaming was a little bit edgy at the start of the game, specially in the tri-lane. They lost a couple of engagements but as the game progressed, their momentum started to pickup. Razor lead the way and slowly built their lead in terms of kills, tower downs, experience and gold earned. After that, they continued to push the lanes, further improved their lead and never looked back to claim the win.

Inferno Gaming vs GizMo Gaming

 

The game was basically a one sided game with GizMo Gaming owning in the early game. It all started in the tri-lane where Inferno gaming was unable to find any kills except for the first blood that they got very early. But after that, GizMo Gaming's Abbadon made sure that no one would no longer die in their tri-lane vs tri-lane matchup. Eventually, they would slowly build up their lead just like what they did in their first game and the opposing team could no longer get back into the game after an aweful start.
