Registration Opened for RGN League Tekken Tag 2 Open: CGA Qualifiers

Registrations for RGN League Tekken Tag 2 Open category for the August is opened! Winners of this tournament will be seeded for Cyber Games Asia held at Tokyo Game Show 2013.

 

Prizes:

Top 3 - Seeded position at Cyber Games Asia, Tokyo Game Show 2013. Accommodation will be provided. Flight to Japan will not be provided.

 

Registration (max 16 players):

1st August 2013 – 16th August 2013. Registration is free of charge. 

Register in the comment section below with your RGN member, nationality and Playstation Network Nick.

Registration will be on a first come first serve basis. Player with premium member will be given priority.

Player must be of citizen of the south east asia countries.

All players are required to have a free RGN member account in order to participate. If you do not have an account, you may register here.

 

Competition Date/Time:

18th August 2013 (Sunday) 1:30pm GMT+8 ~ 18th August 2013 (Sunday) 6:00pm GMT+8

 

Game Rules and Format:

Playstation 3 Online, Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Double Elimination, Best-of-3 matches.

Match format: best of 5 rounds, 80sec

Solo mode is banned

Winner of a match must stick with the same team. Loser may change their team.

In the situation of a match draw, that match will not be counted. Players will have to replay the match until one winner is decided.

 

General Rules:

Players are to use the comments below and/or BracketCloud chat to look for your opponent online there. Should an opponent not respond after 15minutes of the stipulated schedule, the team may claim a forfeit win.

The winners have to report their match result in the comment section below. (e.g. Winner bracket Player1nick 2-0 Player2nick)

In the case RGN decide to stream your match, an admin will create the lobby for both players to join.

 

Strictly no streaming is allowed except for RGN’s authorized streamers. Streamers who wish to stream the games are to drop us an email at [email protected] by 11th August 2013.

Selected matches may be broadcasted by RGN & other authorized streamers.

Players will gain the following points for their monthly positions to be considered for RGN Elite League promotion & invitational tournaments.

 

1st: 10 points

2nd: 5 points

3rd-4th: 2 points
