As a new established gaming community in VietNam, Starcraft 2 (SC2) is still young and lacking of matches. Besides Hoang Xuan Trung ‘Bosser’, after two seasons of Tt Esports SC2 Challenger tournament, two new champions were born. Today, we will meet the first one, To Hong Phuc ‘Sirentt’.

Getting in touch with game very soon, and started playing competitively with WarCraft 3, and he used to be a member of team Hoan Long. Now he switches to StarCraft 2. To Hong Phuc ‘Sirentt’ has made a big surprise when he beat off Hoang Xuan Trung ‘Bosser’ - the best StarCraft 2 player in Vietnam at the final round of Tt Esports Challenger 1
This popular tournament attracted many StarCraft 2 gamers including Pokerface, Gameover, Demonhunter, Duy_love, Bosser,… Sirentt didn’t take much attention before the competition. Freewin at round 1/16, defeated Pokerface at round 1/8, and after that was Gameover at round 1/4. Sirentt strongly and confidently stepped in the final round and against with Bosser.
Following is the interview To Hong Phuc ‘Sirentt’, and it helps us understand more about him, as well as the contributory factors of his unpredictable victory over Hoang Xuan Trung ‘Bosser’.
RGN: Could you please introduce yourself to readers?
Sirentt: My name is Phuc, and I’m working for FPT. I have been joined in eSports for 10 years, :)
RGN: According to you, where is the position of StarCraft 2 in Vietnamese gaming community?
Sirentt: SC2 in Vietnam is still very young but it’s very potential. The number of players in Viet Nam is increasing, especially in kind of game like SC2 which can be long lasting and extremely developing in all over the world. It’s also the game which has the most tournaments and being streamed.
RGN: How can we increase the number of participants, who could frequently take part in training and competing StarCraft 2?
Sirentt: We need to have more hits.
RGN: What is the suitable model of tournament for StarCraft 2?
Sirentt: I think the online tournament is more suitable and typically in initial time, and now there are always having online tournaments for players.

RGN: What is the sponsor's role in the development of Vietnamese eSports?
Sirentt: Of course, sponsors have a close connection to eSports. There are sponsors support SC nowadays, and not only because they love this game, but they also do advertising to make profit based on StarCraft 2, such as IEM, Twitch… which are very successful.
RGN: What’s your feeling when you won Hoang Xuan Trung ‘Bosser’ in the final at Tt Esport SC2 Challenger 1?
Sirentt: So excited, :)
RGN: What contributes to your success?
Sirentt: Perhaps SC2 strategies. With them, everything is possible, :)
