MiTH.Trust and MiTH.TRY, two Thailand DotA groups were invited to join in one of the biggest DotA event in worldwide, located at China in the last month, the World DotA Championship 2011 (WDC 2011). So RGN tried to keep them closer to make a new interview. Unfortunately, we had to do interview in the night before they went to Malaysia for SMM, so we had not much time and TnK couldn’t join into interview. Today, we’re going to show you interview with Lakelz, one of the famous DotA player from Thailand, come along with Pinkle and Aunjii from MiTH.TRY DotA ladies players.

RGN: Hi, You guys so famous, so I think we don’t need to do the introduction part anymore. Let’s get start! Can you tell me about competitions in WDC 2011?

Lakelz: At first, I have to tell you WDC 2011 only sent invitations to the great teams from around the world. I mean every team who’ve got invited is so strong and have individual styles. Sometimes gameplay styles and tempos seem similar, but the different is Heroes characters they choose. I thought I want to play with DK, even they split out after WDC 2011. I just want to know what if we have fight together and who will be a winner. But we can’t underestimate another teams. Like I told you, they’re all so strong.

Pinkle: I think Trust was in strongest group. Because they were in the same group with Na’Vi (Na’Vi is world champion in DotA 2 The International) and iG.Z, team they had met before in ECL. But actually Trust wanted to stay in the same group with Na’Vi at first.

Aunjii: I think TRY were in so strong group too because we know nothing about opponents.

Pinkle: Yeah we know nothing. But they know lots about us because they can watch our replays from ESTC 2011 and analysis our gameplay style. Honestly, I thought we gonna get through this with our confidence.

Aunjii: That’s right.

Lakelz: We earn nothing from these matches. We knew our weakness spot, and we knew why we lost. But we just can’t work it out, we can’t fix these things, and we don’t know how to improve our teamwork.

RGN: I notice Tammy Tang from PMS.Asterisk* had come to play with TRY in this event. How it could be?

Pinkle: Giiz- was having problem about flooding and her parents kept worrying about her. So it would not be good to go with us, and we don’t have much time. So I asked Tammy to join us. Then she was okay with it.

Aunjii: Obviously, Tammy had played with us a few times.

RGN: I think she looks like such a nice girl.

Pinkle: Yep

Aunjii: she’s so nice.

Pinkle: She’s so friendly with us. When we were there, she helped us everything.

Aunjii: She translated everything into English to help us understand and translated our words back into Chinese. Now she tries to learn Thai language.

Pinkle: Yeahhh, she’s good with it.

RGN: How about this trip in China?

Pinkle: I felt so excited at the beginning because it was our first time to go for event in foreign country. We arrived there when the weather was so cold, and food was good.

Lakelz: We earned things every time we went to competitions; we earned new lessons and experience. It was worth to go there.

Aunjii: I felt excited too. I knew new things. Right now China reminds me of noodle.

Pinkle: Chinese food so slick. Toilets in China like P’Note Udom said in his one stand-up comedy.

Aunjii: I think walking across the road in China was so exciting but too dangerous.

Pinkle: You feel like level up when you done that.

Aunjii: You know? Everytime I did, I always had someone to lead me.

Pinkle: But there was a good guy such as staff who took care of us. They were so impressive.

Aunjii: Agreed.

Pinkle: They can’t communicate with us in English, but they had tried to do it so much. When we walked around or wanted to go somewhere, they always brought me to the place we wanted.

Aunjii: They also taught us for Chinese language.

RGN: How about the event in comparison with our country, Thailand?

Lakelz: Lots of different from our country. There were lots of supporters. I heard they spent lot of money to do so. Their players spent more time to practice and took serious more than us. When they lost, I saw they analyzed why they lost and how to make it better. Trust me, DotA will be famous in China for a long time.

Pinkle: Agree with Lakelz. There’s lots of different from us. But most of staff isn’t good enough.

Aunjii: It’s so great.

RGN: Why? They can’t understand in English?

Pinkle: That’s a part of it. When they knew we were not Chinese, they wouldn’t help us.

Aunjii: I think computers for match in Thailand’ events is better than that.

Pinkle: Yes, computers in WDC 2011 were too old and dirty.

Pinkle: But I was impressed about DotA fans there. When we arrived, some fans came to us and asked to take a picture, draw a picture of Silk and Maiden of us, and asked me to sign on his shirt. He idolized lots of DotA players. Also, Lakelz is so famous there.

Lakelz is so famous in China

RGN: Like football players in England or StarCraft players in South-Korea.

Pinkle: Sort of.

RGN: I saw lots of comments about Chinese player manner in the bad way.

Pinkle: I think it’s normally in China. They allow you to show your emotion, yell out a dirty word.

Aunjii: I think it was out from the inner.

Pinkle: But Tsu has no manner.

Aunjii: They made us all shock.

RGN: Why???

Pinkle: It was beginning from the match MiTH.TRY vs Tsu, they always yelled to us and said something like “is this all the best you can do?”, but we don’t give a damn about it. After that, the event got an electrician problem, but they didn’t find the way to fix it. They just claimed the protocol force us to play in 3 vs. 5. It didn’t make any sense. Then they won EVE in final round.

Aunjii: OMG!

Pinkle: OH MY GODDDDD!!!! One of them stood up and ran to the front of stage. She was fooling around and screamed to EVE, and all they yelled and screamed. It looked weird. BTW, EVE started crying in a meantime.

Aunjii: I knew the world has lot of things I should have seen.

RGN: Anything else different from Thailand, except the event?

Aunjii: They treat to gamers like sport players.

Pinkle: They are taking serious in this business more than us.

RGN: What’s the most impressed story you in this trip?

Aunjii: I earned new experience, wisdom, perspective. When I came back here, I just wanted to play it more to make me stronger. It’s such a nice trip with friends.

Pinkle: Firstly, it’s all about Tammy. It’s gonna be tough if she wasn’t there. I hope she will comes to play with us again. Next, it’s about friendly from staffs who take care of us , specially Mrs. Qianyangyang. I want to meet her again. Lastly, EVE girls, even when you lost in game, but you win all of my heart, keep fighting!

Lakelz: It’s only the event. I hope someday Thailand gonna have a big one like that event.

RGN: Okay guys... any shout?

Lakelz: I would say thank to our partnership ASRock , SteelSeries , TN Accessories and everyone who supports us all the time. I promise we won’t let you down, and we’ll do the best. We believe someday we’ll stand in the top among the great teams. “In Trust, We Trust”. Thank you, guys.

Pinkle: Thank you for P’Bas (Team Director) for an opportunity to go there. We promise we won’t make you disappoint and we’ll stay with you forever. WE LOVE MiTH.

Aunjii: I would like to say thanks to P’Bas too. Thanks for new experience. Thanks for everyone who take care of us in foreign country and thanks for all MiTH.
