World Cyber Games 2011 officially returns to Vietnam

Over the course of two days 20/08/2011 and 21/08/2011, players of Vietnam eSports community will be immersed in the hot atmosphere of the largest eSports tournament in the entire world.

 

After the success of Vietnam World Cyber Games 2010, whereby two gold medals were obtained during the Asian Championship 2010, the national qualifying round of this tournament is considered to be Olympics of eSports. It will be back on August 20 and 21. The event will not only be exciting, but competitive. Gamers of the highest level will all gather. Allies will come together and mingle, while old rivals will duke it out in war. Ultimately, the most talented players will be selected to represent the Nation and attend the world finals in December at Busan, Korea.

This is the first time Cross-fire has been presented at World Cyber Games. It is a FPS game which was produced and developed by NEOWIZ Company, Korea. VTC Game releases Cross-firein Vietnam and many FPS players love it. In 2011, this game was officially listed in the Vietnam qualifying round and the world finals at Busan, Korea this December.

In addition, League of Legends has also appeared in WCG for the first time. This is a blending genre of RTS and RPG, developed by individuals who laid the foundation of DotA, such as Pendragon or Guinsoo. League of the Legends is considered the next generation of DotA and the wide gaming community has been attracted by its more new, prominent features and characteristics. This game has been listed in the WCG world finals since 2010.

•  Attendance confirmation: Players go to Cyzone Center to confirm their information within the next two days 13/8/2011 and 14/8/2011.
• Updating confirmationfrom 16/8/2011 on WCG 2011 home page. The Vietnam qualifying round will take place in two days 20/8/2011 and 21/8/2011 at Cyzone Center, No. 90/167 Tay Son Street, Dong Da District, HaNoi.
