TGX Thailand 2012, the first step of Thailand eSports to worldwide level

The Game Xpo, the eSports festival and tournaments that opened for first time in Thailand in 2012, the target of this event is clearly in the different way. That is gaming is not something ridiculous or just a free-time activity, but it is the sports or we call it “eSports”. It’s another stage that allowed all gamers around Thailand for going to be the professional and the place for duel to go to the worldwide level.

Back to the beginning of TGX, it has begun in Singapore for being the center of E-Sports tournament for Singaporean gamers. This year is the very first time that TGX held outside Singapore by the cooperative between Rapture Gaming Singapore and Compgamer group. They have target together, which is promoting E-Sports tournament to the next level. In this event, they will have the variety of games for competition, and recently, TGX 2012 has started registration for some most popular games in Thailand like DotA 2 and Point Blank.
