GMPGL 4-6: the ''Dreamz'' has come true!

Last June 23th and 24th, the Gigabyte™ Mineski Pro Gaming League took part once more for the sixth time this year. There are a lot of exciting things to look for on this event. First, it is the Team Revitalize also known as Pacific Palit. They had been sent down from class S to Class A since the last GMPGL. Second is the comeback of the two power house teams in the Philippines none other than Mineski PColor and iZone125.Gigabyte.

On the first day of the tournament, Class A was the first to be hosted on 4 different Mineski Infinity Cyber Cafe for the first time in the history of GMPGL, placed in M.I. Morayta, M.I. Shaw, M.I. Katipunan and lastly, M.I. Las Pinas. In the class A tournament, a lot of powerful teams hoped to beat Team Pacific Palit, but only team was able to do that and beat Pacific not only once, but twice, and that was team Tsong.Xp They have proved that all can be champion as long as you have what it takes to be a champion.

On the other hand, Girls proved that they could also participate on the tournament where the boys set the dominance mostly. There were 8 teams that joined the event, but only one team crowned as champion and Pacific Law won their second champion title in a row on Girls Division of GMPGL.

Last but not the least, and was the most awaited bracket, which champions battle to be winner amongst champions. So many things expected on this bracket. First will be the fans’ favorite and former champions iZone Gigabyte and Mineski PowerColor went back to Class S. Also, the two time defending champions and the recent champion of GEST IDC, Badburn tried to get the third title in three consecutive months. However, iZone Gigabyte and Ledion Dreamz didn't allow it and beat Badburn to fight each on other on the Finals. iZone Gigabyte has their twice to beat advantage being the winner of winner's bracket. However, Ledion Dreamz used their winning momentum from the loser's bracket and managed to beat iZone Gigabyte twice, and to be crowned as champions of GMPGL 4-6.
