RGN : Firstly, could you introduce a little more about yourself?

Pe Phung: Hello every one, my name is Phuong, I am a high school student and I used to playGhost online but am now playing CF.

RGN : Can you share some information about the time you started gaming? And the first game you played?

Pe Phung: I started to game when I was in secondary school, at that time I did not know much about games. The first game I played was Ghost online and I have lots of memories of it.

RGN : What led you to that game?

Pe Phung: If I remember correctly, either my cousins introduced me to the game. If not, it was out of my own curiosity.
I generally run into a game accidentally.

RGN : Could u explain in more detail? How did it happen?

Pe Phung: I just passed an Internet store and I found the game coincidentally. In 2D, the images were so lovely so I tried to create an account and started playing.

RGN : So what led you to CF while playing this game because it does not contain lovely images, and what makes you like this game?

Pe Phung: I started to play CF when the game Cabal Online was closed. Speaking of CK, I was attracted to its style. I love shooting^^.

RGN : Currently there are many prejudices about female gamers,do you agree with this?

Pe Phung: No, I think girls can play games regardless of whether they can play better or worse than boys. Unfortunately, only a few female players in Vietnam play shooting games…

RGN:Previously when you got acquainted with the game, did you encounter any obstacles? For example, was the style and difficulty of the game a problem?

Pe Phung: It wasn’t just big issues because sometimes I had problems with my class character. Fortunately a number of gamers on forums offered to help me. Talking about the difficulty of this game, it wasn’t just about climbing to the top. Problems generally don’t bother me though.

RGN : There are also tournaments for women in some countries such as CS or DotA. Do you think the Vietnam community can also develop a similar community on their own?

Pe Phung: I think it is a positive suggestion. We couldself-develop with large numbersand skilled women it will surely changeeven a little.

RGN : Many people believe that playing game is not good, do you agree with this? What did you get from gaming?

Pe Phung: No, the game is a modern form of entertainment. I also learnt something from gaming. For example: I liked the game Cabal, it helps me a lot in terms of painting, or gives me relaxing moments with friends, gamers ....

RGN : Besides gaming, do you have any other fortes or hobbies?

Pe Phung: I have a knack for drawing and enjoy reading comic books.

RGN : What do you intend to do in the future?

Pe Phung: I intend to prepare for my exams to enter University of Industrial Fine Art.
In that university I will draw mangas.

RGN : You sound like you really like mangas, so which manga do you enjoy the most?

Pe Phung: I like Naruto the most.

RGN : Has gaming influenced your social life? How are you able to balance the two?

Pe Phung: Previously I missed some classes because of my interest in gaming but now I just see gaming as means of entertainment. Although I still play CF, I do not invest too much time in it. To balance between social life and gaming is quite difficult as I have something to pursue so I no longer spend as much time gaming.

RGN : Did you encounter gaming restrictions from your family or your parents in the past?

Pe Phung: Yes, I was slightly embarrassed to confess that I sometimes stole money to play games.

RGN : So how about now?

Pe Phung: Now, they find that I do not immerse in gaming as much, so they do not chide me anymore.

RGN : Thank you very much for interviewing. Wish you could achieve your desired dream.
