Recently, the issue that RaidCall and its branch office in Vietnam, CENS, which was the exclusive sponsor for the DotA 2 RaidCall Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012, has decided to self-withdraw the sponsor contract with the organizer is IGN.vn, is making wave in Vietnam DOTA 2 Community.

As IGN.vn stated, from the beginning, when CENS had known about the DotA 2 Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012 qualifier to select the representative to compete at The Asia in Malaysia, they came to IGN.vn to offer to be the exclusive sponsor for the tournament, and change the tournament’s name to DotA 2 RaidCall Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012.

According to the contract, CENS must transfer 70% of the sponsor package to IGN.vn before August 27th; however, CENS kept delaying the transfer with unreasonable excuses. Because the lacking of enthusiasm and disrespected manner, IGN.vn has officially announced ending sponsor contract with RaidCall for the DOTA 2 Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012 this morning.

IGN’s representative has stated, “We has already completed all the terms committed in the contract such as proceeding the tournament, and guaranteeing RaidCall’s rights. However, the CENS’ management board was lacking of cooperation when they kept giving excuses in proceed terms in the contract, and the peak is CENS has self-withdrawn the contract without reasons.”

However, IGN.vn guarantees that this issue will not effect the proceed of the tournament, and the slot to The Asia in Malaysia in December as well.
