Flash e-Sports, one of Singapore’s most dominant and if not one of the biggest professional gaming outfits, has recently announced an exciting new sponsorship tie up with Cooler Master – CM Storm, the forerunner in computer chassis, power supplies and gaming peripherals. The announcement, made public as of 26th July 2012, is herald as a landmark deal, which greatly benefits their shared vision of working towards “the fulfillment of professional gaming primarily in Singapore and Malaysia.”
Expressing his delight through a press statement, owner of Flash e-Sports, Terence Ting sees the agreement as a fitting match. “We (the team) began actively looking for a viable sponsorship at the turn of 2012, receiving several attractive offers to support our commitment to eSports going into the New Year. After careful consideration, we have finally found one in Cooler Master – CM Storm. They are no stranger to the computer games scene and have been at the forefront of this industry, supporting the scene in many ways, be it team or event sponsorship on a global scale.” A sentiment that was echoed by CM spokesperson, Ennis Tan.
“Cooler Master will fully support Flash eSports both domestic and international competitions. We look forward to assist the Flash eSports team to continue creating success in the gaming world. Based on track record, we know that Flash e-Sports is a potential team. We will look forward to close co-operation and new lineup with a full set of professional-grade equipment and integrity, readily receiving recognition in their professional players,” notes the Cooler Master Representative.
Flash e-Sports, who recently recruited Joseph “Zara” Yeo into their illustrious FIFA squad and expanded their already formidable StarCraft 2 team, is very much a team on the rise. Despite only turning a year old a few months back, announcing a high profile tie up like this is a clear bid to firmly entrench itself as the nation’s most domineering team.
