Buffet Wars officially launches in Vietnam!

Do you prefer Banh It (a Vietnamese traditional pie) filled with a sticky sweet taste, a cup of Ban Me coffee with a unique bitter flavor, or a cup of strawberry ice cream? Hey chefs, arm yourselves with a kitchen knife, spoon, fork…or anything else that you can find in your kitchen because Buffet Wars (aka Vua Bep in Vietnam) has been officially introduced to Vietnamese gamers with full features on September 12th, 2011.

 

The Buffet Wars is a turn-based, trajectory shooting game. Players are supposed to aim and throw many delicious kinds of food in an attempt to make your opponent get fat and turn into a crying baby.

 

The gameplay will first provide some ingredients. You will have to take part in “buffet wars” to acquire more ingredients and rare secret recipes, which allows you to make new dishes. They may show up randomly, so you have absolutely no idea what your opponents may throw to you. There are also special skills that you may use, such as “Potato Tornado”. This skill can pull you out of a dangerous situation should you find too many incoming attacks. There is also something called the “juicy bar”. When the bar is maxed out, your team may cast an ultimate attack that deals considerable damage to the enemy HP (Hit Points).

 

In Vietnam, you need to register an account on Banbe.net, a social network provided by FPT Online to experience the web game Buffet Wars. Now you can also post your achievements, your high ranks in Buffet Wars on your Wall to get cheers from your friends. Up till now, Buffet Wars has attracted more than one thousand players and the number has only been getting bigger ever since official launch.

 

 

The Buffet Wars is developed and established by Pendulab, Singapore. The developer has established Sushido, which is not just popular among Vietnamese gamers, but also one of the selected games for World Cyber Games (WCG) Vietnam 2011. With the number of people playing Buffer Wars getting bigger and bigger, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Buffet Wars were to be chosen as one of the official games for WCG Vietnam again next year, that could mean more delicious and traditional dishes, cute animations and thousands of smiles.
