Interview with Neil ''VYY'' San Juan from Manila Aguilas

League of Legends is one of the most played games today in the Philippines. Hundreds of League of Legends tournaments are going on all over the world. In Southeast Asia, we have the Garena Premier League.

Manila Aguilas is a premier e-sports organization from the Philippines playing League of Legends. The team made its debut on the Garena Premier League. It took some time to successfully form the team. All of the current team members passed the try outs, which clearly showed how good these players are.

 

Today we bring you an interview with Manila Aguilas Player, Neil “VYY” San Juan.

RGN: How did you involve in eSports?

VYY: When I was still playing DotA, I have been participating tournaments held by Mineski and Pacific.

 

RGN: How long have you’ve been playing the game?

VYY: I have been playing LoL for almost 1 year now

 

RGN: What does it feel being a part of Manila Aguilas?

VYY: It feels great. It’s the dream.

 

RGN: Can you give us some tips on how do you play League of Legends?

VYY: Focus on objectives, know your role and play as a team. 

 

RGN: Do you have a girlfriend?

VYY: Lets just say im courting someone

 

RGN: What are the other problems you encounter?

VYY: Picks and strategies

 

RGN: Do you have a best friend in your team?

VYY: I treat my teammates equally

 

RGN: Who is your favorite champion?

VYY: Ezreal

 

RGN: How does it feel competing with international teams?

VYY: It feels great. We are very lucky that we can compete internationally and I hope that with this experience, we can learn more strategies.

 

RGN: For you, who is the strongest League of Legends team in Asia?

VYY: For me the strongest LoL team in Asia is TPA / Taiwan.

 

RGN: What should we expect from you and Manila Aguilas?

VYY: You should expect us getting better and better as a team and we want to strive more so that as a team, and for the PH players we can keep pace internationally.
