Get to know about Blackfire with 9th-.Neolution E-Sports .rOG

In 9th of May this year, Goldensoft, the provider of Raycity, Zone 4 and SD Gundam Online in Thailand has presented to you the brand new TPS (Third-person shooter) game, named Blackfire, which is built based the Unreal Engine 3 technology. To help you get to know about the new established game, RGN decides to do an interview with 9th- of the Neolution .rOG, one of the Top 5 Thailand’s eSports teams who has a chance to test this game.

RGN: Please introduce yourself first.

9th- : Hi, RGN. My name is Kao, I’m the member of Neolution E-Sports .rOG. The name I use in the match is 9th-.

RGN: Ok. Let’s get to the point. How is this game in overal?

9th- : This game is very fun. It’s the game that needs a lot of teamwork to win. But in my opinion, this third-person shooter game may be not likeable for formal players.

RGN: Does anything distract you about the gameplay?

9th- : I think it’s the cover system, and the aiming system that will be the high threat to the FPS players, but for the TPS players who has already played the game like Gear of War before, it wouldn’t be any problem

RGN: About the graphics, is it suitable for Thai players?

9th- : It’s a bit too high for Thai players, I think. Because of the game’s graphic is very high, the PCs in internet cafes couldn’t handle it.

RGN: Which factors make this game different from other shooting games in Thailand?

9th- : The unique PVP (Player vs. Player) and PVE (Player vs. environment) mode. Great sound effects attract the players to get the game real. The Zombie mode, which is the Co-Op mode, needs a lot of teamwork to survive. Even the person who doesn’t play TPS games like me is interested in it. It’s a modern TPS, and I think the TPS players will like it.

 

RGN: What makes you unsatisfied in this game?

9th- : The first thing is graphics, like I said, it’s a bit too high. The second is the control method. Because it is a TPS game, the method isn’t as smooth as FPS that makes the players, who would like to experience this TPS game, take a lot of time to learn. And if we look at the view of the competition or match, it should be the teamplay. Those elements above are different from FPS games.

RGN: Overall, could it attract the Thai players much?

9th- : I think it’s only for a small player group, not big; and being the featured game for the tournaments, I think it is not easy to reach that level.

 

RGN: If this game had an eSports tournament, would Neolution join in the party?

9th- : We have to practice first and we’ll know the answer later; because I am not sure whether the rest of team like it or not.

 

Although not being familiar with the TPS genre, they still find it interesting

RGN: At last, do you have any shoutout for RGN’s readers?

9th- : I would like to invite you guys to play Blackfire because this game has a lot of good things in the game. The great graphics and sounds will help you enjoy the game for a long time. Moreover, I want to recommend this game for the eSports players. At last, I would like to ask RGN to keep updating our match progressions. We’ll pay attention and win every tournament we are going to attend.
