PGF DOTA 2 Qualifiers: 8 teams qualified, 8 teams to go

As the PGF day draws closer, we found 2 veteran teams and 6 other new names booked to compete in the PGF Dota 2 category.The qualifiers for the said event was divided into 4 categories, MIOT Dasma, MI Morayta qualifiers, the online qualifiers and lastly is in the Day 1 of the PGF itself. 

In the MIOT Dasma qualifiers, 4 teams did advance to compete in the PGF, and Pagibig.TnC was crowned as the champions followed by runner up MSI Evo GT and 2 other teams, Crucio and Ambush.On the second qualifier prior to the event itself, 2 rising teams booked their slot as team Phantom and team Fultilt won in the tournament.

 

The next tournament was online as more than 50 teams battle it out, including one of the brightest teams in the PH. Everything was running according to what was expected until the semi-finals. The big team was expected to roll over the tournament, Mineski Hyperx, was robbed by a team named GANGSTERS, made them drop and lost their hopes of qualifying in the online tournament. The other team that advanced in the tournament was Z-twin. 

 

The last qualifiers for the PGF Dota 2 championship will be held on the 1st day of the event as multiple top teams aim to complete their transition from WC3 DotA to DOTA 2. 8 slots are still open, and who will make it?
