In ‘The daily Rapt’s’ fourth edition, we will be featuring one of the most reliable Dota 2 utility players from the Asian region who has had international experience in major competitions. Our featured player is none other than the Malaysian player Chan Litt-Binn or better known as ‘WinteR’.

 

 

Once the captain of team “Orange eSports, WinteR won multiple championships including the very prestigious WCG  Asian Championship 2012. However, probably the highlight achievement for WinteR and Orange eSports would have been to finish seventh in Valve’s “The International 2” in Seattle and
pocketed USD$25,000.

 

WinteR started playing professional Dota 5 years ago but only got his major break in late 2011. He bounced around various teams including Aeon, MuFc, Team My before landing with Orange eSports. One little known fact about him is that he actually played professional chess before switching to competitive e-sports. Just imagine how he calculates every move, with his chess trained mind, when making decisions in the game and coming up with strategies.

 

 

WinteR’s signature heroes are Dark Seer, Batrider, and Nature’s Prophet. According to Dota-Academy.com, our featured Rapt has a winning average of 46.81% in his professional career. In previous tournaments such as “The Asia” we have seen WinteR played with Natural9 of Australia, though it seemed clear that he was only a stand-in and has not been confirmed as an official member of the team.

 

On the rumour vine, good news for all of WinteR’s fans! According to his former teammate Cy “Mushi” Fung, WinteR will be forming a new Malaysian team. Rapture Gaming Network will try our best to get the latest scoop with regard to this piece of news and share it will all our readers.
