RGN Exclusive Interview.

RGN: Could you tell how you started your gaming career? Which game did you started playing first?

SkyNet.Nolove:

I started to play game when I was in grade two. At that time, the most prominent game was definitely Starcraft. Some people whom I was hanging out with were my classmates also played Starcraft. However, being a new gamer, the inevitable is lost. After only a few matches, I've been fascinated by the tactical play of Starcraft and became a follower of this game. At first, I was contemplating on becoming a professional StarCraft gamer. But this did not come true because of the years of playing Starcraft had perfected my ability to become a good micro player as a DotA gamer.

RGN: Given your skills, you seem appropriate in the e-Sports industry. What made you stick to this?

SkyNet.Nolove:

The game brings a nuanced strategy completely different from the usual game online as you can see in the market. To be a good gamer online, you just take the time to plough and hoe away more money. In order to master the game, besides spending time, learning it seriously, you must also have the talent, of course.

RGN: Behind every successful player always has a reliable fulcrum. Who is the spiritual whom always cheering and supporting you to be a professional DotA player?

SkyNet.Nolove:

I am so happy that I have a wonderful brother. He also played DotA but is not as good as me. However, he is very supportive of my coming to play competitive e-Sports.

RGN: Currently most people do not have a clear definition on e-Sports gaming; they often assume that games are the only input to gamers. To you, what can you do to balance your gaming career and real life?

SkyNet.Nolove:

Although DotA is very important to me, it is not the most important thing in my life. My major is violinist at the Conservatory. Everyday I will spend at least 4 hours to practice violin but my passion for DotA has not interrupt with my real life.

RGN: Here comes the big question, do you have your own DotA idol? Who is he?

SkyNet.Nolove:

Misery from MYM is my favorite gamer. He is an excellent player in an incredible way. If you have seen the way Misery plays, you’d realize that no matter what circumstances he is in, he will find a way out. Maybe my style is strongly influenced from Misery: a little bit wise together with reckless adventure.

RGN: When you were young, have you ever imagined that you would become a professional DotA gamer?

SkyNet.Nolove:

As I have said before, my dream was becoming a professional Starcraft gamer.  My story to be a competitive DotA gamer is completely unexpected, perhaps it is due to fate. Haha.

RGN: You are known as one of the best Invoker players in Vietnam. Do you have any advice for people who want to play hero?

SkyNet.Nolove:

Being a new gamer, you may follow the "ice - lightning" build. Accuracy rate when the competition development of high spells has helped the team again in the phase of fighting. In addition, you may practice harder to raise your own APM (Actions Per Minute).

RGN: Thank you very much for your time. We wish all the best in your future DotA competitions.
