Big update for the Chinese Dota2 scene, as we will likely see a new team, in the form of Rattlesnakes, contending in future tournaments.
Former EHOME carry Zhicheng “LaNm” Zhang who was remarkable with his Tiny carry demolishing other big name carries during the ‘The International 2’, will be returning to the competitive Dota2 scene.
In recent years, the Chinese already have established teams including Invictus Gaming, LGD China, DK, TongFu, and with Rattlesnakes now in the mix, expect this new team to make sound noise in the competitive scene as they have quite an experienced line-up.
The line-up for Rattlesnakes includes the former captain of World Elite, Yinqi “Luo” Luo and his teammate Peng “Icy” Wang. World Elite is best known for recently narrowly missing out on ‘The International 2’ after they lost their qualifying match to “Mousesports”. Completing the line-up are former TongFu utility player Kai “Kabu” Zhao and a relatively unknown player Yixuan “FAN” fan.
