NIP victorious at EMS One Fall Cup #1
The Swedish gaming powerhouse, Ninjas in Pyjamas, remained unstoppable as they bagged the EMS One Fall Cup #1 championship. NIP had an impressive victory against Copenhagen Wolves 2-1 in the grand finals.
The remaining four teams were NIP, Copenhagen Wolves, Fnatic and VeryGames, and they played on the second day of the event as the final four teams. NIP was able to overcome Fnatic 16-7 in de_train_se, making the team secure a slot in the grand finals. The match between VeryGames and Copenhagen Wolves was intense. VeryGames did some great play against the Wolves. But in the end, the Wolves were able to snatch a 16-14 victory against VeryGames.
The Wolves carried the momentum they got from the semi finals into the next round. This is where The Wolves are now against NIP in the first map of the grand finals, de_dust_se. The second map was exciting as NIP tied the series after an amazing victory in de_mirage_ce. It took two overtimes before NIP finally tied the series; the final score was 26-22.
The momentum was now on the side of NIP. In the third map, de_inferno_se, NIP spelled all-out-war and defeated the Wolves 16-6.
