A moment with the Crossfire champion, team ''IamWara''

Crossfire is one of the most played online first person shooting game in the Philippines with thousand of gamers are playing. In 2011, Crossfire Philippines has 16,000 to 20,000 online players everyday. Gameclub is the publisher of Crossfire in Philippines, and they bring the excitement and thrill in the Philippine gaming community with its best graphical features and designable guns version of crossfire, that captured the hearts of some Philippine FPS players.

IamWara (Wara) is a independent team started playing Crossfire competitively since 2009 and joined in some major gaming events of Crossfire Philippines.

RGN: Can you tell us about yourself?

EurOpe* : I’am Aries Lloyd Alde also known as Aries, 21 years old.
-k1ng- : I’am Mark Joseph Punzalan also known as King, 22 years old and a hardworking person.
-Bx-m4c : I’am Mark Cris Mirote also known as Mac-Mac, 22 years old. I describe myself as a tall, dark and handsome.
poy.ph : I’am Victor Indic Fulache, Jr. also known as Poy, 24 years old, hardworking and adorable.
IMBAZARREN : I’am Zarren Donn Perez also known as Zarren, 21 years old.

RGN: How long have you’ve been playing Crossfire?

IamWara : We’ve playing Crossfire for 3 years.

RGN: What are your roles in your team?

EurOpe* : Captain and Attacker.
-k1ng- : Awmer.
-Bx-m4c : Rusher.
poy.ph : Backup, Support and Attacker.
IMBAZARREN : Player.

RGN: Which teams are the most competitive team(s) you’ve ever seen?

IamWara: Fairview Gaming, MSI Evolution Gaming Team, Cristal, CM Storm and TaQs.

RGN: Who is your favorite local/international player(s)? And why?

IamWara: Carn (because he is a good captain), and Markellop (because he is a good sniper and I like watching him).

RGN: What other games that you’ve played?

IamWara : Counter Strike 1.3, Counter Strike 1.6, DotA and Sudden Attack.

RGN: How many times you are playing in a week?

EurOpe* : 5 days/times a week.
-k1ng- : 4 days/times a week.
-Bx-m4c : 7 days/times a week.
poy.ph : Almost everyday.
IMBAZARREN : 3 days/times a week.

RGN: What is your favorite gun/weapon in Crossfire?

EurOpe* and -k1ng- : AWM, AK-47 and M4A1.
-Bx-m4c : M12S, M4A1 and AK-47.
poy.ph and IMBAZARREN : AK-47, M4A1 and Desert Eagle.

 

RGN: Can you describe on how you play Crossfire?

EurOpe* : I’m serious and focus while playing.
-k1ng- : Slowly but surely.
-Bx-m4c : Playful.
poy.ph : Focus while playing.
IMBAZARREN : Focus.

RGN: What does it feel being part of IamWara?

EurOpe* : I’m happy and feels great because for me, this is my dream team.
-k1ng- : I’m so proud being part of IamWara!
poy.ph : Happy, because I feel the teamwork and trust of my teammates to me.
-Bx-m4c : I’m so lucky and happy to be part of IamWara.
IMBAZARREN : Happy and it feels great.

RGN: For you, who is your best teammate? And why?

EurOpe* : For me, my best team mate is -Bx-m4c, because he is a professional player for me!
-k1ng- : For me, my best team mate is poy.ph. He’s still quiet even though the battle between us and the opponents is started.
poy.ph : My best team mate is IMBAZARREN because I have trust on his tactics.
-Bx-m4c : My best team mate is also poy.ph. If poy.ph is not in the team, the team will not be perfect.
IMBAZARREN : poy.ph is my best mate because of his strategic plans.

 

RGN: Have you ever experience a major problem in the game?

EurOpe* : Yes, when you feel someone is bullying you in the game.
-k1ng- : Yes, when I can’t kill at least one (1) of my opponents, especially when we are playing on a big event.
poy.ph : Yes, especially when I can’t even kill an opponent, seems that I can’t help/assist my team.
-Bx-m4c : Yes, sometimes my teammates are baling me because of my aggression.
IMBAZARREN : Yes, when I feel that my support/assistance for my team is in adequate.

RGN: What should we expect from your team?

IamWara : We will be more responsible in the game. We will show to the world that Filipinos is truly dedicated in the world of first-person shooting game. We will try to give you the game that you want and we will try to conquer the Crossfire Philippines Championship this year 2012 and join to the upcoming World Cyber Games 2012. Just wait and watch for us!

RGN: Do you have any suggestion or comments?

IamWara : We need sponsors, we don’t have sponsors yet. For sponsorship, just contact us on our Facebook. Don’t lose hope even though your opponent already has a high score or beyond the score, just trust your team mates.
