Neolution E-Sport in WCG AC 2011: Try Best, No Matter of Time

Thai gamers generally agree Neolution E-Sport is one of the top teams in Thailand, who won the slot to become the representative for Thailand in WCG AC 2011. I assume you may not know much about the team will shine a light and wave Thailand flag in DotA competition at the biggest gaming festival in Asia. Today, we have an opportunity to spread their words about the upcoming competition.

RGN: Hello, firstly, let’s say something about yourself?

PtM|Neo: Hi everyone, I’m Thakun Chalurnjun [PtM|Neo-thaa-]. But call me ‘Tha’, Neolution E-Sport’ team leader. I’m in charge of managing list-to do for my crew, creating plans, deciding team position and being a super-sub player for team, they call me ‘all-around player’.

RGN: So you can replace with everyone in your team, aren’t you?

PtM|Neo: Yes. I will replace in any position if I have to do.

RGN: We had heard about flood in Thailand. Do you guys have any trouble with it?

PtM|Neo: Actually, there are two of us having these problems, and then we can’t communicate well with each other. In a mean time, we still can practice together. The real problem is that we just got beta keys for DotA 2.You can see how much time that we have, so we really practice as hard as we can for the big event.

RGN: When did you have invitation for DotA 2 competition in WCG AC 2011?

PtM|Neo: I’m not sure about date exactly. Maybe it was in last month.

RGN: What do you think of the reason why they sent an invitation to you?

PtM|Neo: I think it’s our success in a few months ago, but it is not enough to proud.

RGN: I just notice you have to practice 2 games (DotA 1 and DotA 2) in the same time, is that right?

PtM|Neo: Yep. Like I told you before, we just got beta keys for DotA 2 and we don’t have much time. So we decided to spend more time in DotA2.

RGN:  That means you pick it up as your main objective?

PtM|Neo: We have to learn things from DotA 2 for a while to go for WCG AC 2011 and maybe more in a future, but we still play DotA 1 in sometimes. I’d like to say our objective is both of DotA.

RGN: If Valve Corporation announces officially DotA 2; will you completely change to play it?

PtM|Neo: It’s depends on reward, cash prize, competitions, media and support. If it has enough, we will go for it.

RGN: Can you tell us about how the different about DotA 2 from DotA 1?

PtM|Neo: It’s all about hotkey items, hero characters, skill tree and maps. Sometimes it made us confused when we played.

RGN: Let’s talk about how you prepare for competitions.

PtM|Neo: We have several days to practice DotA 2, because we’re still not used to be with new gameplay, hero, map and others. I want to say it repeatedly about how much time do we have. We practice in our internet café, so we can communicate with each other easier. It helps improve our skills, tactics and teamwork.

RGN: Which team do you think they are hardest upcoming opponent in this competition?

PtM|Neo: EHOME and MUFC would be hardest part in those days, but actually EHOME would be the one I think they’re the strongest one among all teams because I watch their replays, and I saw how good they did in previous competitions.

RGN: May I ask you about who is the greatest rival of your team in our country?

PtM|Neo: Absolutely MiTH.Trust. They are always our greatest opponent.

RGN: Would you say something in the last?
