Despite that dominance, hibidi was made to work hard for his victory, with the winner coming in only the 90th minute off a swift counter-attack.

Hakumenfox cannot seem to stop winning. Vietnam’s WCG champion has put his early season blip behind him, notching four wins in a row, with the latest coming against his compatriot. After squandering an early 2-0 lead to allow KunKun to come back to 2-2, Hakumenfox clicked into overdrive in the second half, scoring 3 goals in quick succession. The win propels Hakumenfox to second in the table on goal difference ahead of Malaysia’s Vin.

Vin extended his unbeaten run to 6 games with a hard-fought victory over Nonii9, moving closer to his compatriot leOmeS in the process. Unlike last week’s victory over hibidi, Vin controlled the bulk of this game and fully deserved his three points.

An interesting team selection from Zarate paid huge dividends. The Singaporean player surprised many (including si_jali) by opting for an Italian 4-3-3 side, and quickly stormed to a 2-0 half-time lead. He then scored again in the second half and saw the game out comfortably despite a consolation goal from the Malaysian. Si_jali slips into the relegation zone as a result, but may take some comfort from the fact that he has finally scored his first goal from open play this season.
