SMM 2012: Registration for international teams still open

The Sendi Mutiara Multimedia (SMM) Tournament 2012 is set to kick off on the 13th of December 2012 for four days at the MyCORE Centre in Cyberjaya Selangor, Malaysia, and organizers are planning to bring down the house with a competition like no other. Hosting three major tournaments under one roof; the OneAsiaCup FIFA Online 2 and Counter-Strike Online competitions, as well as their pièce de résistance, the largest DotA competition for the year – the Grand National Finals DotA Tournament 2012.

Boasting an exceedingly tantalizing prize purse of over RM188,000 in the coffers, winners of the SMM Grand National DotA Tournament can expect to walk home with RM57,000—a figure which hardly includes the medals and other sponsored goodies players of the winning team will receive. Out to sweeten the whole experience, organizers have decided to lay an incredibly generous layer of icing on the cake when they announced the commentary panel for the series – the legendary pairing of Toby ‘Tobi Wan’ Dawson and David ‘GoDz’ Parker.

Running on DotA version 6.76C, the competition will utilize a coin toss-draft system which will play out on a single elimination setup. Registration for international participants has yet to close and for more information on that do remember to head on down to the link provided below.

The Sendi Mutiara Multimedia event will run from the 13th to 16th of December 2012. For more updates on the games, registration, rules and regulations, do follow SMM at their official webpage.
