Preview: Crossfire Pride of Champions League Grand Finals

The anticipated grand finals of the Crossfire Pride of Champions League 2013 will take place at one of the most anticipated e-sports event in the Philippines, the Pinoy Gaming Festival 2013. This October 26-27, be sure to come down to the SMX Convention Center to witness intense fps action courtesy of the 8 finalists.

We bring you a special insider where you can have a preview on the finalists in this year’s Pride of Champions League.


Leg 1 Champion: MSI Evolution Gaming Team

The MSI Evolution Gaming Team has travelled so far in the fps scene. Their journey is definitely incomparable to the other teams’. From the team’s foundation until today, the team remained as a consistent contender in various fps tournaments.

Leg 2 Champion: Acclaim West A

Acclaim West marches to the Pride of Champions grand finals as they won the second leg of the qualifiers. Can they overcome the other teams as they continue their journey on winning the biggest gaming event of the year? Can Acclaim West finally claim the victory they have been searching for?


Leg 3 Champion: TnC.Loko

Considered as a tough contender, TnC.Loko shocked the scene when they won the third leg of the Pride of Champions League and since then the team continued to do an amazing performance in the tournaments they competed in. Can they continue their dominance and take home the championship in this year’s competition? Or will momentum leave their side and pull the team down? The team is about to face the biggest challenge of their career yet.

Leg 4 Champion: Wattsking 1

Wattsking secured a slot in the grand finals after bagging the fourth leg of the qualifiers. The team has always been considered as an underdog in the scene. As they make their way to the pinnacle of Philippine e-sports, can the team prove everyone wrong and bag the championship?


Leg 5 Champion: Macta Infirma II

The boys from Macta Infirma gained their slot in the grand finals after securing the fifth leg of the qualifiers. The team often fell short in the tournaments they competed in. This time, can the team secure the first place and win themselves a championship? Is this their year?

Leg 6 Champion: Zappa

It wasn’t a walk in the park for Zappa when they won the sixth leg of the qualifiers. Like the other teams, Zappa has been considered as a rising contender in Crossfire scene. The team has been competing in various tournaments, proving to others that they aren’t easy opponents. Is this the time of Zappa to finally prove they are championship material? Can the team overcome the other teams and win this year’s PGF?


Leg 7 Champion: FG.CMStorm

One of the top contenders in the fps scene was Fairview Gaming CM Storm. The team has been dominating tournaments in the FPS scene ever since it’s inception a couple of years ago. The team is totally one of the must watch teams in this year’s competition. The team never fails to amaze the crowd when they compete. Can the team bag another championship?

Leg 8 Champion: Parak

The final team to join the pit of finalists was Parak. After seven successful legs, Parak finally gained their slot in the grand finals this year. This is the perfect time for the team to prove they are a top contender.

The national champion will fly to Kushan, China to represent the country in the World Cyber Games 2013 Grand Finals which will be held from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, 2013.
