DreamHack Winter to have $250,000 prize pool
Valve has announced their partnership with DreamHack. They also announced that DreamHack Winter will be having a whopping $250,000 prize pool for CS:GO. The tournament will be named DreamHack SteelSeries Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Championship.
Recently Valve unveiled a new feature in CS:GO the Arms Deal where players from the community gain special in-game items. A portion of the sales revenue from those items will be placed on the tournament prize pool.
DreamHack Winter will be held on November 28 to December 1 in Jonkoping, Sweden.
This tournament is considered to have the largest cash prize in Counter-Strike history. Stay tuned as we bring you more update in the upcoming acton.
