RGN: Hi Trung, How did Trung come to Sudden Attack (SA)?

Trung: Since I was a kid, I have played some FPS games like Counter Strike, and Cross Fire later, but none of games has got the best teamwork mode as Sudden Attack (SA). I got a “gangster blood “ since I was a kid, and I took a risk to try to play this game and become addicted.

RGN: What is your feeling after playing Sudden Attack, one of the most popular eSports game in Korea in specific and South East Asia in general?

Trung: According to my point of view, SA is the greatest FPS game I have ever played. It’s not too real like AVA, or too unreal like CF. It gets high fairness in all aspects. I used to play many FPS games, before SA there has CS, later is CF and the AVA, but none of these games can keep me for a long time like SA. Because SA is not too hard to play; and it has a lot of things to learn, from skills inside game and life style from outside. Each person gets his or her own feeling; with me, SA has the highest chance to be an eSports after CS.

RGN: You and your team, #SA#Talent, have won a lot of achievement in local tournament. So, how did you come along with #SA#Talent?

Trung: Hihi, actually, like the other teams, I had not gotten any prizes at SA arena. But I did participate in many competitions, played SA in several countries, so I got a lot of experiences. That’s the foundation for me to come along with #SA#Talent. #SA#Talent now is sponsored by TaLent Groups and we have gathered experienced gamers of previous SA tournaments, bringing passion and enthusiasm together, with the big sponsorship from TaLent Groups, we try to train everyday to build up #SA#Talent today. As the runner up at PAT SA last February, and sitting on top at Demo Tournament 2012, we have proved that our efforts and TaLent Groups are not worthless.

RGN: What are your comments about the abilities of Vietnamese gamers when participating in local tournaments?

Trung: Very good. That’s all I can say about, we can see that there may have a lot of excellent teams and outstanding individuals, and the quality of the tournaments are quite good, due to teaming levels are equal. The contributions to our victory may be with luck, together with the outgoing investment from TaLent Groups, and another part is the effort of the whole team. In fact, there are a lot of powerful teams of SA VN, such as some teams from the North. However, due to the condition of the tournament, they can be only operated in South area. I hope there will have more national tournaments, so every team can join in, and compete each other, so the SA community can develop stronger and stronger.

RGN: Which experiences you have gained from real life and game?

Trung: There are a lot of things I have learned since participating in SA community. Game and Life are different from several points of view, but somehow they get similarities. Your feeling in game is the true feeling inside yourself. Game, or anything else, all need to train to get improvement. However, you have to know the difference between gaming addiction and gaming passion, scheduling your time suitably to balance your work and game.

RGN: Thank you for the interview, and wish to to have more and more success in for your life.
