Pinoy Gaming Festival is coming again!

When we think about e-Sports, a few things come to mind, such as camaraderie, teamwork, communication, sportsmanship. E-Sport events are a growing trend that brings together the fans, the players, the media and basically anyone interested in gaming.

Summer is here in the Philippines. Not only is the weather getting hotter, but the eSports scene is heating up as well with the Pinoy Gaming Festival (PGF) Summer Assembly happening on May 4th – 6th, 2012 at SM North EDSA Cyber Zone. An offshoot of the very successful PGF 2011, this event promises to be a treat for all gamers, as we eagerly await this year’s edition of PGF.

The PGF Summer Assembly is organized by Rapture Philippines. It’s brought to you by NVIDIA, ASUS Philippines, PLDT Alpha Lines, PC Gilmore, KTS Game Media, SteelSeries, and two other gaming sponsors.

Below is the statement of the Managing Director of Rapture Philippines:

“After the success and history that Rapture PH has made in the first ever PGF last year, we are doing it again.

But this time, we are adding more content bases from last year.

Our goal is not only to make this bigger, but also trying to work with different gaming publishers in the country, and make a universal goal of establishing the Philippines, as another destination for gaming events.

We have also planned to do at least two events this year in the Philippines, and we are inviting everyone to be part of this event and another piece of gaming history in the making.

In the coming days, we will officially announce the games and tournaments/leagues that will be played in the PGF Summer Assembly.
