RGN Elite FIFA League Match Day 7 Preview

Si_jali held El Rey to a draw in midweek, giving leOmeS a 3-point lead at the top of the table. With 3 games left in the FIFA 13 leg of the league, every game is going to counts.

Current Standings

Mith.KirosZ (TH) vs Flash.hibidi (SG), LIVE on Saturday at 3pm

We’ve been saying this for weeks, but KirosZ is still looking for his first points of the season. This weekend he comes up against hibidi’s Brazil team that lost narrowly to Vin in match day 6. The Thai player could just snatch his first win of the season if hibidi’s finishing is as lax as it was last weekend.

Flash.El Rey (SG) vs Infinite.leOmeS (MY), LIVE on Saturday at 3.30pm

The wheels have fallen off the El Rey wagon in recent weeks. After making a 100% start to the season, he has drawn 3 games in a row, allowing leOmeS to snatch top spot in the process. Despite his winless run, El Rey has showed promise; arguably creating the better of the chances against Vin and Si_jali.  With the young Singaporean’s superior goal difference, a win this weekend would send him back to the top of the table. A defeat however could see him bumped down to the lower half.

proA.Hakumenfox (VN) vs 3H|KunKun (VN)

Vienam’s representatives meet for the first time this season, separated by 3 points. Hakumenfox has been the league’s most in-form player with 9 points from his last 3 games, but both players know each other very well from being practice partners, and we could very well get a draw from this game.

TH.Nonii9 (TH) vs eMaster.Vin (MY)

Nonii9 and Vin picked up big wins on match day 6, putting them on 11 points each. Expect a very tight game from two of the league’s most defensive-minded players. This will be a match up that can well and truly be called a mirror match. Both players use Madrid, and play the 4231 systems with slow possession-based attacks.

Both players will be hoping to extend their winning streaks

Zarate (SG) vs si_jali (MY)

Zarate finds himself in yet another relegation dogfight, but he comes up against si_jali who has similarly failed to impress this season. The Malaysian legend has not scored from open play in all 540 minutes of Champions’ League FIFA this season, but managed to pick up a point against El Rey on Thursday. A win for either side will not help to allay fears of relegation, but could end up being crucial at season’s end.
