eSports at the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games

Electronic sports will be one of the 12 discipline amongst the likes of Futsal, bowling and Kickboxing at the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. Held in Korea, Incheon from the 29th June to the 6th July, 45 Asian Nations will compete in 100 different events, among 12 disciplines and 9 sports. 

In the Electronic Sports discipline will feature 6 different events (Games) including League of Legends and Starcraft. Hosted in Korea, it might have been a natural choice to have these 2 games included so as to attract local attention from spectators to watch these games. 

So who or what decided these 6 game titles should be part of a sporting event closest to the Olympics? With eSports recognized as part of the Asian Indoor Games, could this be a sign that eSports could make its way to the Olympics?
