RGN League DOTA2 Elite Playweek 2 Match previews

Match 1:

The last time these two teams met was during the Phase Two of the G-1 Champions League Asia Qualifier where Team Zenith dominated First Departure 2-0 in their match series. Can Zenith repeat what they have done? Or will First Departure take revenge for their recent loss against them?

First Departure is one of the few teams lately who would like to go for Wisp in their line-up and get carry heroes like Lone Druid and Chaos Knight. For First Departure to win a game against Zenith, they will need to shut down the farming abilities of Yamateh and iceiceice. But for Zenith, they usually pick a hard carry hero to dominate the late game while the rest of the team try to keep the opposing team busy and delay their hard carry’s farm.

Schedule: May 26, 2013, 8:00pm (GMT+8, Singapore Time)

Match 2:

This is the chance for Risingstars.Gaming to get their revenge on TongFu after losing their match series 0-2 at the AMD Premier League Season 1. With Risingstars’ recent defeat at the hands of TongFu , they are hungry to get their revenge on the Chinese powerhouse.  While TongFu will continue their momentum after an impressive win against For.Love.

TongFu’s playing style is to pick at least two hard carry heroes like Gyrocopter, Davion Knight and Lone Druid  and letting them farm to assure their late game potentials. While for Risingstars, they rely on xiaojuti’s hard carry heroes who are usually Alchemist, Anti-Mage and Yurnero.  These two teams’ playing style is almost the same focusing on their hard carries and late game phase. The key for both teams to win this series is basically in the hands of their main carry heroes and winning team fights and pushing afterwards.

Schedule: May 26, 2013, 9:30pm (GMT+8, Singapore Time)
